Role Overview

The Group Financial Controller owns financial truth, cash discipline, and capital readiness for the Aeonn Ark Group. This role exists to eliminate financial ambiguity, prevent cash surprises, and impose disciplined decision-making across the organisation.   It is a cash-first, control-led role with direct authority to stop spend, enforce budgets, and surface risks early. If it is not budgeted, approved, or cash-safe — it does not proceed.

This is a CFO-track role, focused on building a finance system that scales with capital.

    2. Publish weekly cash position and 30/60/90-day runway views

    3. Deliver clear cash flow statements

    4. Ensure reports are simple, comparable, and decision-ready

  5. Working Capital Discipline
    1. Own receivables aging and collection cadence

    2. Control payables sequencing

    3. Prevent cash stress caused by poor timing or discipline

  6. Capital Strategy Support
    1. Model capital requirements vs internal cash generation

    2. Build use-of-funds and downside survival scenarios

    3. Support investor diligence and fundraising readiness

    4. Act as gatekeeper against cash-destructive terms

Experience

  • Mandatory exposure to multi-entity / group structures

  • Strong cash, controls, and governance mindset

  • Comfortable saying “no” when required

  • Low ego, high discipline

Growth Path

Culture & Fit

Fact-based. Conservative. Unemotional.  Finance exists to slow bad decisions and protect cash, not to justify risk.
